Personal Message:
My name is Mr. Shane Michael Kliebert and I have taught World History and World Geography at St. James High School, my alma mater for ten years. In 2001, I earned an athletic scholarship which afforded me the opportunity to play football and further my education at Nicholls State University. I graduated in the spring of 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education. In December of 2014, I earned a master’s degree in educational leadership.

In my ten years at St. James High School, have served in various leadership roles including: Defensive Coordinator (Football), Head of Strength and Conditioning (All Sports), and Social Studies Department Head. During this time I have had the opportunity to supervise players, coaches, and teachers on a daily basis. I believe that instructional supervision should be an ongoing relationship between the both the administrator and the teacher.

I am honored to have been selected as St. James High School’s Teacher of the Year twice under two principals in my tenure. I was also named the 2013-2014 St. James Parish Teacher of the Year after a rigorous evaluation process conducted by district personnel.

On July 12, 2016, I was notified of my appointment as Assistant Principal at St. James High School. I am excited to say the least and grateful for the opportunity. The 2016-2017 school year is only the beginning of our journey to earning an "A" letter grade as a school district.

I currently live in Chackbay, Louisiana with my beautiful wife Lisa, our son Kade, 8 years old, and our baby girl, Hallie, 3 years old. I am a big supporter of Nicholls State University, enjoy attending athletic events, and as a former student/athlete, I display my colors proudly.
