Michelle Montz

Hi, my name is Michelle Montz. I am an Instructional Technology Facilitator for St. James Parish Schools. I live in Laplace with my husband Peter. I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. Prior to my teaching career, I worked for a human resource company for eight years hiring and training personnel on various software programs. I attended UNO to obtain my Alternate Teaching Certification, and SLU to add on Computer Literacy Certification. I started my teaching career in 1997 teaching second grade at Luling Elementary. Then, I worked for the Archdiocese of New Orleans at St. Joan of Arc as a Computer Science teacher and Technology Director for nine years. I have been the Instructional Technology Faciliator at St. James High since 2008.
